If you’re looking for a quick, satisfying, and flavorful option for breakfast, lunch, or dinner, these oven-baked hot sandwiches are ideal. Made with whatever you have in the fridge, they come out crispy on the outside, soft on the inside, and with a juicy and aromatic filling that everyone will love. It’s literally a mini-pizza without the fuss .


Ingredients

For the bread

  • 1 or 2 baguettes or flute-type bread (it can be from the day before)
  • Quantity needed according to the size of the bread

For the filling

  • 200g of ham (coarsely grated)
  • 200g of cheese (it can be mozzarella, creamy or whatever you prefer)
  • 100–120 g of cooked or sautéed chicken breast (optional)
  • 2 eggs
  • Fresh parsley and/or cilantro, finely chopped
  • 2 heaped tablespoons of mayonnaise
  • Salt: to taste (optional)

For the dressing
