Ingredients You’ll Need
4 cups water
3 green tea bags
1 tablespoon fresh ginger, sliced
Juice of 1 lemon
2 tablespoons honey (adjust to taste)
Ice cubes (optional)
Lemon slices and mint leaves for garnish (optional)
How to Make Lemon Ginger Iced Green Tea with Honey
Step 1: Prepare the Tea Base
Boil 4 cups of water in a saucepan.
Add the sliced ginger to the water and let it simmer for 5 minutes to infuse the flavor.
Turn off the heat and steep 3 green tea bags in the hot water for 3–5 minutes, depending on how strong you like your tea.
Step 2: Add Flavor
Remove the tea bags and strain out the ginger slices.
Stir in 2 tablespoons of honey while the tea is still warm. Adjust the sweetness to your liking.
Squeeze in the juice of 1 lemon and mix well.
Step 3: Chill and Serve
Let the tea cool to room temperature, then refrigerate for at least 1 hour.
Pour the chilled tea into a glass filled with ice cubes.
Garnish with lemon slices and fresh mint leaves for an extra touch of freshness.
